My name is Dave B. Tanguay, D.C. and I am very excited to be with associated with Optimal Health Group. I am from Chicopee, MA, attended Wilbraham and Munson Academy, as well as several colleges for prerequisites for acceptance at life Chiropractic College, graduating in 1983.

Working with several different offices gave me the experience I needed to open my own practice in Norton, MA where I practiced for 20 years. After a brief sojourn into the dental field, I have found my ideal office situation where I am able to implement the type of chiropractic care that is most beneficial. This is an integrated approach that addresses acute conditions, but also provides rehabilitative and supportive care. The uniqueness of Optimal Heath Group is this integration of chiropractic care along with soft tissue therapy, exercise and nutrition.

The chiropractic care I utilize is both traditional (Diversified – the more aggressive osseous technique) and a non-force reflex technique which is extremely effective and valuable for osteoporotic and other high risk patients as well as those who prefer not to be “cracked”. For those patients who require specialized care for low back conditions involving prolapsed or ruptured discs, I have successfully referred patients to a fellow chiropractor specializing in the Cox technique (special flexion/distraction technique). An important aspect of my care focuses on nutritional support with an emphasis on bones, connective tissue and muscles. Metagenics is the line I prefer and have used successfully for the past 20 years. The company only supplies to medical and chiropractic practitioners. Their technical support and literature addresses both the practitioner’s and the patient’s questions in an east to understand manner. Our goal at Optimal Health Group is to broaden this nutritional sphere.

The staff at Optimal Health Group, consisting of Jennifer Beauregard and Peter Beauregard, is most knowledgeable, instructional and professional with a level of personal concern that is rare and reflects their true passion for the health and well being of their clients. It is truly a pleasure to work in such an atmosphere.

Finally, I believe that the interrelationship between the various disciplines of medical, chiropractic and ‘alternative’ care are essential. My concern is for the welfare of the patient. Referrals for Podiatric care, neurological evaluations, orthopedic as well as chiropractors with specialized techniques are made without hesitation if warranted.

I would like to extend professional courtesy to you to experience my care firsthand and answer any questions you may have for me.
